Brent worked for a local builder who specialized in remodeling and additions, prior to joining the Navy where he served as a Construction Battalion (Sea Bee). After his service, Brent moved to Southern California where he obtained his General Contractors License in 1996 and completed multiple commercial and residential projects during his time there.
Brent is a fully licensed Florida General Contractor, a member of the Florida and Orlando Home Builders Associations, and a serving member of the Orange County Housing Advisory Board.
Incorporated in the year 2004, Walters Construction has been the proud builder for countless homes in both Central Florida and New Smyrna Beach, FL. CEO & Owner, Brent Walters, was raised in Central Florida and began his construction career shortly after graduation.

Dave began learning to work with his hands at a young age as his stepfather was a master carpenter. He went on to become licensed with Florida as a residential builder. He has been with Walters Construction since 2020. Dave and his wife (Jen) of over 20 years are parents to five and have a busy household with more dogs than kids, a cat that runs the home and too many chickens to count! He enjoys fishing and playing in a rock cover band at various Central FL venues.

Dave has been in Florida for 30 years having moved here from Buffalo, NY. Dave is married to his wife (Donna) and they have one son, David, who works by his side when he is off from school. In their free time, Dave and his family enjoy boating, fishing and snorkeling. He has been with Walters Construction since 2016 and enjoys mentoring young, hardworking men in the trade.

Damon is a graduate of Texas A&M with a degree in Construction Science. He’s been in the residential construction industry since 1997 with a diverse history from small production homes with national builders to large custom homes with Walters Construction. He and his wife (Joie) are local residents that enjoy boating, fishing and supporting their teenage twin boys in travel ball.

Amy, originally from Annapolis, Maryland, is a devoted mother to her son, Silas. Outside of the office, she enjoys soccer games and spending time with friends. Amy has been with Walters Construction as the bookkeeper since 2018. Her responsibilities include customer billing and change orders, vendor invoices and assists with the daily operations of the office.

Grace, a NASCAR fan, started with Walters Construction in 2017. As a Project Administrator, she handles all permitting work, pre-permit vendor quotes, and post-permit coordination work for the vendors and utility companies. Together with Amy, she also assists in the everyday operations of the office.

Joannie’s Interior Design career began over 20 years ago in Las Vegas, working on major projects such as the Wynn Hotel. Combining her years of experience, Joannie strives to offer her clients a well-rounded approach to the design process; a trained eye with a deep understanding of how to move the selections process along with ease.
In addition to her Interior Design degree, her initial degrees are in Fine Arts: Painting and Sculpture. In her spare time, she can be found making art in her studio at The Hub on Canal in New Smyrna Beach or in the community volunteering at outreach events.

Interior designer
Deanna enjoys time with her family outdoors, she can be found island hopping around Ponce Inlet most summer weekends or offshore fishing with her fiancé. She oversees marketing and sales. Additionally she is the decorator for our renovation department.
